Q. What is EE2018? Is it an accelerator programme?

Lightspeed Extreme Entrepreneurs is an 8 week program for entrepreneurs. The program will involve intense mentoring and learning sessions, interspersed with a series of community events. This is not an accelerator – there’s no equity stake, no funding, no ‘terms’, no contracts.

 

Q. What’s in it for an applicant/founder?

You’ll receive

• Mentorship from a Lightspeed India investor for 8 weeks and well beyond
• Invite-only masterclasses from startup and investing titans.
• A coveted insider position in a community of select high potential startups and investors

You won’t get

• Funding
• Gyan or rehashed knowledge you could browse on line anyway

 

Q. What do I need to commit to?

All we ask for is your time and your openness to learn. You will have to set aside Tuesdays during the program to sessions convened at a pop-up space at the Lightspeed India offices in Koramangala. There are absolutely no other commitments demanded of your firm, startup or potential idea – no promise of a stake, no cash handout, no ‘accelerator’ terms.

 

Q. Who is eligible to participate?

All kinds of startups are welcome – consumer tech, business to business, building rockets, or even ideas that many might deem crazy! We also welcome founders across stages – whether you’re just getting started or have a few years head start. The only criteria is your hunger to learn and passion to build something that potentially changes the world.

 

Q. Do I need to be based in Bangalore to take part?

No – the program is open to startups across the country. If necessary, we will help figure out affordable accommodation close to the Extreme Entrepreneurs 2018 venue.

As a venture fund, we care deeply about reducing gap and creating a more supportive environment that enables more to succeed.
